WHO TF IS D’BRND?

Growing up in her hometown of Granite City, IL, A’iesha began thrifting in middle school. Introduced to her by her big sister, shopping secondhand became her favorite pastime as her closet was soon full of the most unique pieces she could find. Known by her friends as the luckiest person at the thrift, she knew she wanted to share the finds that couldn’t fit her with more than just friends and family. 

In 2020, she started D’BRND with the hope of sharing sourced treasures online and at pop-ups. What she didn’t expect was the positive reception over all her silly finds and beginner upcycles. 

Now in its 5th year, D’BRND has grown beyond just a love for sourcing old clothes as A’iesha now uses old textiles and damaged clothing to create new treasures. D’BRND is a labor of love that is part vintage, part upcycled/handmade, and a whole lot of experimentation. 

You never know what you’ll get from D’BRND—but that’s the fun part.
